Can't surf ? Can't be bothered learning ? and yet wishing to experience the thrill of gliding on a wave ? Body Surf is for you ! All you need is to be able to swim, get a pair of flippers and you're ready to get stoked !

If you want however to take your body surfing experience to the next level, than the hand plane is your go to device: go faster, longer and with more stirring control (see video below for a very poor demonstration)

A few options are available:

Size:

    -Small: little bigger than the hand (see picture below), better for bigger surf, really comfortable to swim with.

    - Large: Self explanatory, more buoyant but less maneuverable when swimming, better for smaller surf. Can be fitted with a FCS plug to accommodate your Action Cam and film yourself in the barrel or your mates in the surf.

Construction:

    - Solid Wood: similar to the one featured in the video. A natural look, simple and efficient, made of Paulownia, requires only oiling.

    - EPS core: Recycled EPS core, balsa or Paulownia (or other) outer layer, natural cork rails, Vacuum bag laminated with an epoxy finish, mat or gloss. Lighter, more buoyant and arguably "better looking" (see pictures below, you can judge for yourself)

Strap:

    - Velcro + plastic plugs: Comfortable, solid, adjustable.

    - Leather: 100% real leather treated with mink oil (the best natural leather waterproofing finish) secured with stainless still plugs. I think it looks really nice, it is durable but not adjustable.
